WebRTC Leak Test: Stop Your Real IP From Leaking Behind a Proxy

Even with an HTTP proxy configured, your browser's WebRTC can still obtain and expose your real public IP through the STUN protocol. This is a WebRTC leak.

This site runs the test locally in your browser: it gathers ICE candidates via STUN and compares them against your current exit IP, without any traffic passing through our servers.

How to test

Click the WebRTC test button on the home page (My IP) or on the Environment Check page.

How to protect yourself

Disable WebRTC in your browser or install an extension for it; some proxy and anti-detect browsers also offer a WebRTC protection toggle.

FAQ

Why does my IP leak even with a proxy?
An HTTP proxy only handles HTTP traffic. WebRTC uses a separate UDP / STUN channel that bypasses the proxy and exposes your real address directly.
Does the test upload my IP?
No. The test runs entirely in your browser and the results are never sent to a server.
