The Difference Between Dedicated and Shared IPs
A dedicated IP is an address only you use; a shared IP is one exit address used by many people (shared proxies and CGNAT both qualify). The two differ greatly in fraud controls.
Once a shared IP is abused by others in the same range (spamming, attacks, bulk sign-ups), its risk score and blocklist status drag down everyone sharing it.

Guilt by association: when someone else gets banned, you may be restricted too; risk scores are generally higher.
The advantage of dedicated IPs
Controllable behavior and better purity, suited to account management, cross-border e-commerce, sign-ups, and other IP-quality-sensitive work.
